New iPad Mini Case
Very excited about my new iPad case! Fits my mini nicely and there is just enough padding to keep it safe. That strip of leather coming out? A handy tab that helps pull the iPad out. Yes, useful and quite clever.

…you’ve got to pay as much attention to the inside as you do the outside. What’s the point of having a great looking bag if you dislike the inside or can’t use what is there? This is the minimal and functional inside of our slim computer bag. Pretty. Or handsome. Whichever you prefer.
Colours!
Leaves are falling outside and we’re busy working on a spring line with one of our clients. Oh, how I love the bright colour combinations of the leather and lining with the added pop of a contrast stitch. Everyone has a black bag–why not be different?

Keep it simple with just a few pockets to hold the absolute essentials.
The debate in the factory
We’ve had many opinions expressed in the factory over the colour of this item. The leather warehouse has named it “coral”; the consensus here was it was more like salmon. Regardless, we agreed it was a pretty colour for summer! (It has a surprise inside too: bright, lime green lining!)
If you aren’t fond of colours, look away (if you can!)

Cork tote in rustic brown
Here is the Cork Tote, like we made in red, but in a rustic brown leather trim. One has nickel finish hardware, the other an antique brass, as per the client’s wishes.

And here it is. Finally! The red looks even better than I thought it would with the cork. And yes, that one in the back is different. I found a red strap with a crocodile print embossing that was long enough to cut into two handles and just enough extra leather to make one up. I like that red with the cork even better. So I’ve claimed it. Now, besides being quite light in weight, cork is as durable as leather, environmentally friendly and naturally water repellant.
New customized pocket
So now my iPad mini has a home! The worry with a larger tote is that things will get tossed around, possibly damaged by the other stuff we all inevitably cart around. And if I don’t feel like bringing the iPad everywhere, I will have a place to put something else; something else that I might need to know it’s whereabouts and can find it without even looking inside the bag! Oh, and that little strap hanging down the inside on the left? Handy little hook for my keys…no more wasting time searching for them, shaking my bag to try to locate them!
